The Graveyard Book Film Adaptation

The Graveyard Book Film Adaptation

It has just been announced that Disney has acquired the rights to The Graveyard Book which is one of my absolute favorite books authored by Neil Gaiman.  What is even more exciting is that they've already decided that Henry Selick will be directing the film.  Selick had previously directed Gaiman's last child book film adaptation, Coraline.  He is also known for The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach.  We are looking forward to see how Selick brings this next story Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week

What We’re Obsessed With This Week

Our first obsession this week is Marvel's The Avengers movie which will officially hit theaters at midnight on Friday May 4th.  Everything about this movie is perfect.  The writing is incredible, each of the actors gives a stellar performance in their role, and the entire movie is action packed. Each character is spotlighted and has their own storyline throughout the entirety of the film.  Joss Whedon has truly outdone himself with The Avengers.  Throughout the screening, the audience was loudly Tell Me More!

Photographer Philip Bonneau Shows Us The Sexier Side of Superheroes

Atlanta based artist & photographer Philip Bonneau has found a unique way to incorporate his love of superheroes into his work. His latest photo exhibit features hot male models portraying popular superheroes. Great work if you can get it! But it's all for a good cause. Bonneau's work is currently being exhibited at MISTER, a gay and bi-sexual men's community center in Atlanta. And the gorgeous photos have brought him and the center plenty of attention. The exhibit, titled "Heroes and Villains Tell Me More!
Comic Review: The Manhattan Projects Issue #2

Comic Review: The Manhattan Projects Issue #2

In the first issue of The Manhattan Projects we learned about Oppenheimer and his past leading him to work upon The Manhattan Projects.  In this issue I was overjoyed to find that the story was very heavily Richard Feynman based.  Feynman is a theoretical physicist known best for his work with quantum mechanics.  There was also some interesting interaction between Feynman and Einstein, which to any science nerd is quite exciting to see, especially considering how close the Large Hadron Tell Me More!

DIY Caviar Manicure

DIY Caviar Manicure

The hottest new trend in nails is the caviar manicure. It first showed up on the runways of London and Paris. I discovered it while browsing Pinterest for new mani ideas. It's become so popular that UK nail polish company Ciate just debuted an at home kit for Sephora. I was thisclose to purchasing the $25 kit when it hit me that there's a much cheaper option available. So, I went home and searched through my craft supplies and found them...microbeads! You can purchase this set of microbeads Tell Me More!

Comic Review: America’s Got Powers #1 by Jonathan Ross & Bryan Hitch

Comic Review: America’s Got Powers #1 by Jonathan Ross & Bryan Hitch

I'll be honest and admit that when I picked up my copy of America's Got Powers #1 last week I did so only because I read that its author, Jonathan Ross, based one of the characters on his friend David Tennant. Since I am not only a huge Doctor Who fan, but a fan of Tennant's 10th Doctor in particular, I had to see him come alive in comic book form. What surprised me more than the perfect likeness of Tennant in the book was how much I enjoyed the story. I'm not really a fan of the TV talent Tell Me More!
