Every year at Baltimore Comic Con, a reception is held for The Harvey Awards, and all of the winners are announced.  This year's show was hosted by Bill Willingham.  Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples' Saga was the biggest winner this year, taking home six awards.  A complete list of the winners can be found below. Baltimore Comic Con 2013: BOOM! Studious Announce SHE-DEVILS By George Perez

BOOM! Studios, who recently acquired Archaia, announced a new miniseries, She-Devils, at Baltimore Comic Con.  She-Devils is going to be four issues and will be written and illustrated by George Perez.  The series will be colored by Steve Downer.  Perez signed an exclusive contract with BOOM! and She-Devils is his first project for them which will be released in 2014. Baltimore Comic Con 2013: Ming Doyle to Join Valiant’s QUANTUM AND WOODY

Another announcement made at Baltimore Comic Con is that artist Ming Doyle, who currently works on the creator owner series, Mara, with Brian Wood, will be leaving Image to join writer James Asmus at Valiant Entertainment for the second story arc of Quantum and Woody.  The second arc begins with issue #5 and will be on sale in November.  You can read an in depth interview Alejando Arbona (editor), James Asmus (writer), and Ming Doyle (artist) over on CBR. Baltimore Comic Con 2013: Dynamite to Launch GRIMM Miniseries By Jai Nitz & José Malaga

This past weekend at Baltimore Comic Con, Dynamite announced that they will be releasing a miniseries based on the NBC television show Grimm.  The series will be called Grimm: The Warlock and the creative team working on the series will be Jai Nitz and Jose Malaga.  Grimm tells the story of partners Nick Burkhardt and Hank Griffin who work for the Portland police department and solve supernatural crimes.  Nick is a Grimm and is able to identify supernatural beings, but unlike his ancestors he Tell Me More!

One of the most exciting panels during Baltimore Comic Con was the Marvel NOW! Panel moderated by Tom Brevoort and Mark Waid.  The panel described all of the new and exciting titles that Marvel is debuting within the next few months.  Marvel NOW! is the perfect jumping on point for new readers who have not previously read comics, but the updated takes on stories will still satisfy dedicated fans.  I live tweeted throughout the entirety of the panel, but in case you missed it, here is what we have Tell Me More!

The IDW Publishing panel at Baltimore Comic Con was moderated by Dirk Wood, and featured appearances by Thom Zahler, Timothy Truman, Andrew Griffith, Ron Marz, and Jamal Igle.  Wood told us about the new titles coming out by IDW Publishing, and the creators who attended the panel discussed their works for us as well. The first big announcement Dirk made was the new crossover stories that would be affecting IDW titles.  Last year the theme was Infestation, but this year, Mars will be attacking! Tell Me More!
