DC Collectibles Announces Bombshell MERA & Wants YOU To Vote For Her Design

The DC Collectibles Bombshell line is forever expanding and we we keep hoping there will be no end in sight.  Unlike the other bombshells in the line, DC is looking for consumer input on the design of Mera.  They've released 3 options: A) A "beach-attire" Mera in a one-piece swimsuit and holding a sun hat. B) A "naval/sailor" Mera wearing a bikini top, navy-themed pants, and a sailor's cap C) A mix of options A and B. Mera wears the same one-piece swimsuit as seen with A but has the sailor's Tell Me More!
Kotobukiya: ROCKET RACCOON & GROOT ARTFX+ Statue

Kotobukiya: ROCKET RACCOON & GROOT ARTFX+ Statue

The internets have been abuzz with Guardians of the Galaxy excitement, especially since Toy Fair previewed a ton of new GotG merchandise and a few days later we were all impressed with the first full trailer released on Jimmy Kimmel.  Kotobukiya is joining the ranks and producing a Rocket Raccoon and Groot statue that will be released in September of 2014.  Being a raccoon, Rocket Raccoon is rather short which is why Kotobukiya designed him standing on Groot's shoulders to add height to the figure. TOY FAIR 2014: Kidrobot DC Comics Labbits & Mini Figures

TOY FAIR 2014: Kidrobot DC Comics Labbits & Mini Figures

This year at Toy Fair, Kidrobot announced that the DC Comics universe would be added to their line of toys.  So far we've in love the with oversized Joker Labbit which has a flower dangling from its mouth.  As for the blind box mini Labbits, we saw Batman, Aquaman, Bane, Green Lantern, Red Hood, Flash, Superman, Swamp Thing, Hawk Man, and Cyborg.  Another line of mini figures of the popular DC characters will also be released and at Toy Fair Kidrobot previewed graphics of (Suicide Squad) Harley Tell Me More!
TOY FAIR 2014: DC Collectibles LI’L GOTHAM Figures

TOY FAIR 2014: DC Collectibles LI’L GOTHAM Figures

One of our favorite announcements pre-Toy Fair (but we previewed the figures there) is the line of figures based on Dustin Nguyen's Li'l Gotham.  Li'l Gotham has been one of my favorite comics to have debuted in 2013 and it's one of few that I've kept up to date with on a monthly basis.  Obviously the Harley Quinn figure is our favorite (she also comes with the most accessories, including an adorable mini Joker!), but the Joker and Robin figures are lovely as well.  The Batman is a little bit Tell Me More!

TOY FAIR 2014: Kotobukiya DC Starfire Bishoujo

TOY FAIR 2014: Kotobukiya DC Starfire Bishoujo

Earlier this year, Kotobukiya announced that they would be adding a Starfire statue to their line of Bishoujo figures.  We couldn't believe they already had a figure ready to preview at Toy Fair when it was exactly one year ago that a Black Canary Bishoujo was announced, yet we haven't seen any progress on her just yet.  I made a point to ask the Kotobukiya reps about Black Canary and they promised me that she would be coming out later this year.  In the meantime, Starfire is scheduled for release Tell Me More!

TOY FAIR 2014: FUNKO Hikari Japanese BATMAN & TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLE Vinyls

At Toy Fair, Funko revealed a new line of Jikari Japanese Vinyl figures that will be debuting in the Spring/Summer of 2014.  The line is Sofubi-inspired and the vinyl is soft which is unlike most of the vinyl we're accustomed to collecting.  Each figure will be a hand numbered limited edition and will come packaged in a clear tube with an on/off LED light for easy display.  The line is beginning with the below figures (Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), but will later also be released for Tell Me More!
TOY FAIR 2014: DC Collectibles INFINITE CRISIS Figures

TOY FAIR 2014: DC Collectibles INFINITE CRISIS Figures

This week at Toy Fair DC Collectibles previewed a new line of figures based on Infinite Crisis.  Included in the line is Atomic Green Lantern, Atomic Poison Ivy, and Pajama Party Harley Quinn.  Our favorite detail on the Harley Quinn is that if you flip her around, the bottoms of her pj's are hanging open in one corner and revealing her Batman undies.  Each figure retails for about $39.95 and will debut in August of 2014.
