My Favorite Moments of Dragon*Con 2012

My Favorite Moments of Dragon*Con 2012

I attend a lot of conventions each year, and Dragon*Con is always my favorite! This year was no exception. So, I thought I'd share my favorite moments with you. Friday Night at the Marriott Marquis Friday night is always the calm before the storm at Dragon*Con. The large crowds arrive promptly the next morning and stay until Monday. On Friday night, my hubby and I found ourselves sitting in a bar overlooking the floor of the Marriott Marquis, and the view was awesome! Everywhere I looked Tell Me More!
Dragon*Con 2012: An Hour With Gillian Anderson

Dragon*Con 2012: An Hour With Gillian Anderson

When OWWWP saw that The X-Files star Gillian Anderson would be doing a few panels at Dragon*Con we were so excited. Anderson's Special Agent Dana Scully is one of our favorite female TV characters, so we thought that spending an hour with the woman who played her would be an absolute treat...and it was! The panel began with Anderson taking questions from the moderator of the panel. Most of the conversation was focused on her current and upcoming projects. One of the projects that piqued our Tell Me More!
Dragon*Con 2012: The Walking Dead Panel

Dragon*Con 2012: The Walking Dead Panel

On Sunday afternoon, OWWWP attended The Walking Dead panel featuring series stars Steven Yeun (Glenn), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Madison Lintz (Sophia), Emily Kinney (Beth), and James Allen McCune (Jimmy). The cast is obviously under strict orders not to spoil any of season 3, so very little news came from the panel. But that didn't stop the actors from putting on the most entertaining one hour panel we've ever attended. Unfortunately, many of the videos I took were ruined by my sudden outbursts of Tell Me More!
Dragon*Con 2012: Felicia Day Press Conference

Dragon*Con 2012: Felicia Day Press Conference

On Sunday morning, On Wednesdays We Wear Pink was invited to a very small press conference featuring one of our favorite geek girls Felicia Day. Day's credits include Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Eureka, and the incredibly popular web series The Guild. Most recently, she launched the premium YouTube Channel Geek & Sundry, which features a lineup of shows that represent some of the best that indie geek culture has to offer. Day is largely credited with being Tell Me More!
Dragon*Con 2012: An Interview With Jamie Bamber

Dragon*Con 2012: An Interview With Jamie Bamber

Jamie Bamber is probably best known for his portrayal of Lee Adama in the re-imagining of Battlestar Galactica. Since then, he's gone on to star in roles on Dollhouse, Outcasts, and Law & Order: UK. Next summer, he'll return to TV with a starring role on TNT's new series Monday Mornings. Monday Mornings follows the lives of doctors at the fictional Chelsea General Hospital as they "push the limits of their abilities and confront their personal and professional failings. The title refers Tell Me More!
My Weekend at Dragon*Con, Part 3 – The Walking Dead Panel

My Weekend at Dragon*Con, Part 3 – The Walking Dead Panel

I've watched season 1 of The Walking Dead five times since its premiere last October. Yes, FIVE times! I believe it is, by far, one of the best shows on television. So, you'll understand why this was the panel I was most excited to see.    Pictured from left to right are: Addy Miller ("little girl zombie" from ep 1), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Jon Bernthal (Shane), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Madison Lintz (Sophia) and Steven Yeun (Glenn).     I took a few videos to share Tell Me More!
My Weekend At Dragon*Con, Part 2 – The Buffy Panel

My Weekend At Dragon*Con, Part 2 – The Buffy Panel

Buffy The Vampire Slayer has been one of my favorite TV shows since its premiere in 1997. On Sunday afternoon I was lucky enough to get a great seat for the Buffy panel.      Over 1400 fans packed a hotel ballroom to see series stars Nicholas Brendon (Xander), James Marsters (Spike), Eliza Dushku (Faith), Julie Benz (Darla), Clare Kramer (Glory) and Mercedes McNab (Harmony).  I took a few videos to share with you...  The stars are introduced to the fans: Nicholas Brendon Tell Me More!
My Weekend at Dragon*Con, part 1 – The Annual Dragon*Con Parade

My Weekend at Dragon*Con, part 1 – The Annual Dragon*Con Parade

On Saturday morning fans from all over the world lined Atlanta's Peachtree Street for the annual Dragon*Con parade. The attention to detail that parade participants put into their costumes is extraordinary. But rather than tell you, I'll show you... I have so many more pictures and stories to share with you from my weekend at Dragon*Con, but now I need to get some sleep. Until tomorrow...good night! Tell Me More!
