Remember the Ant Man footage we told you about that was debuted at San Diego Comic Con?  Marvel still hasn't released the actual footage to the public yet, but one Deviant Artist known as Samurai Jack has recreated Edgar Wright's test footage from memory in storyboard form and transformed it into this video short.  Most exciting, is that the video gives us a possible sneak peek of what Ant Man's helmet may look like in the film! UPDATED: Felicia Day Action Figure Available Now

When Quantum Mechanix (QMx) debuted their Felicia Day/Codex figure at San Diego Comic-Con, squees of delight echoed throughout the convention halls. The Codex figure is modeled after Day's popular character from The Guild web series. It is also the online boutique's first one-sixth scale figure and measures in at just over 11 inches tall. QMx worked closely with Day to make sure every detail on the figure was recreated perfectly, and we believe they've succeeded. The figure looks incredibly realistic. There Tell Me More!

  This weeks Geek Chic Icon of the Week was spotted at San Diego Comic Con in a Millennium Falcon Dress.  Her name is Jennifer Landa and she is a major Star Wars fan.  Upon seeing the pictures of her stunning ensemble via Twitter, we immediately Googled her and were excited to find that this was not the first crafty Star Wars skirt that Jennifer has created.  She had previously worn a Death Star skirt at last years San Diego Comic Con.  One of the best things about Jennifer's outfits Tell Me More!

The cast of True Blood gathered together over the weekend to discuss the show's current season and preview what the residents of Bon Temps will face in the coming weeks. SDCC 2012: LEGO Announces New Minifigures

At the LEGO booth this year at San Diego Comic Con, LEGO introduced their newest line of minifigures which will be released in 2013.  The line includes both Marvel and DC figures.  You can view them in their entirety below.  The next wave of characters we'll be seeing in stores is DC: Aquaman, Batman, Robin, Poison Ivy, Joker, Mr. Freeze, Harley, Scarecrow, Bane, Penguin, Gordon and a Guard, Marvel: Spider-Man, Dr. Doom, Jonah, Beetle, Nick Fury, Venom and Nova.  We can't wait to get ours so Tell Me More!

SDCC 2012: Movie Wrap-Up

I've been looking forward to The Hobbit movie since the day I began reading Tolkien's epic fantasy.  The first part of the books adaptation, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, directed by Peter Jackson will finally be released at the end of this year on December 14, 2012.  The panel opened with footage of Gandalf peer pressuring Bilbo to accompany him on a journey.  Bilbo learns about the dangers he'll face on the adventure and the other folk at their table deem Bilbo unfit to attend, but Gandalf Tell Me More!

  One of the most anticipated and emotional of all of the television panels this year at SDCC was the 10 year reunion panel of Joss Whedon's Firefly cast.  Browncoats united for this panel that both began and ended in tears.  In addition to Joss, the panel featured Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, and writer Jose Molina.  Whedon commented on his choice to cast Fillion as Mal, captain of Serenity, by saying: "There was never a moment from the time we Tell Me More!

SDCC 2012: DC COMICS Wrap-Up

DC Comics newest movie to follow up this month's The Dark Knight Rises release is Zack Snyder's Superman movie entitle Man of Steel and starring Henry Cavill.  At SDCC's Hall H presentation, a new Man of Steel poster and trailer debuted.  The movie is slated for theatrical release on June 14, 2013.  According to Snyder, they are done shooting, and now are just busy working away on the movie.  There will be a teaser trailer released in conjunction with The Dark Knight Rises in theaters, but the Tell Me More!

SDCC 2012: IDW PUBLISHING Wrap-Up

We were thrilled to hear the IDW Publishing announced that a new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic is being written by Katie Cook and illustrated by Andy Price.  The series is set to launch this November.  Editor Bobby Curnow assured the audience that the comic will strive to maintain it's witty jokes from the television series that have captured the hearts its older viewers.  No official art for the comic has been released yet, but if you visit Andy Price's portfolio on DeviantArt, it Tell Me More!

One of the most highly anticipated panels at this years San Diego Comic Con was the Marvel Studios panel which delivered a ton of exciting movie news its to attendees.  Marvel Studios revealed Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Phase Two will feature Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Iron Man 3.     Ant-Man, which will be directed by Edgar Wright, does not yet have an official release date or any actors Tell Me More!
