What We’re Obsessed With This Week
Our first obsession this week are these Planet lollipops we saw on The Mary Sue. These edible images lollipops are available to preorder in VintageConfection's Etsy shop for $17.50. Each set of lollipops contains 10 pops, each fashioned after a different planet including the Sun and Pluto. The set can be ordered in either Cotton Candy or Strawberry. Our next obsession is Top Shelf's massive yearly sale that's currently being held on their website from now until September 28th. You Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week: Doctor Who Edition
Our first obsession this week is the programable Sonic Screwdriver remote from ThinkGeek. Can imagine anything more exciting than channel surfing like a Time Lord? Because we can't! This remote can learn all of the control codes from a regular remote. All of your movements determine whether the channel changes, the volume increases, or your DVD tray opens. The remote has 13 gestures, 3 memory banks and can store up to 39 remote control codes. The remote is selling for $99.95, but you Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week
Our first obsession this week is this cocktail that glows like the aurora borealis when placed under a black light as seen on That's Nerdalicious. The ingredients are as follows: 2 liters of gin or vodka, 9 liters of tonic water, 3-4 bottles of Rose's mojito passion OR 2-4 canisters of pink lemonade concentrate ice. All you have to do is mix all of these ingredients together, and add the ice in as late as possible before drinking and volia! We may have to break out this recipe for the next Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week: Space Edition
It seems that when we got together this week to talk about our obsessions, all of them had to do with space (yes, even our last one - think about it!). So, we decided to dedicate this week's WWOWTW to space. Our first obsession this week is the 135 pound, 7 foot long, 70,000 piece LEGO recreation of Serenity from Joss Whedon's Firefly. We'll let the photo speak for itself. It seems like everyone began their week in a state of exhaustion after staying up late to watch NASA's Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week
Next Wednesday August 8th, the hardcover color edition of Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Precious Little Life is being released. But what's even more exciting is the volume 1 collectors edition. There are only 500 of them available (they were previously sold this year at SDCC), and they'll be sold online. The Collector's edition comes with a regular and Evil Ex edition of the new hardcover, 11 exclusive stickers, a hand crumpled Trasha set list, 5 exclusive prints, a signed card, metal coins, a digital Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week
Our first obsession is the announcement that Doctor Who will be gracing the cover of this weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly. Doctor Who is the first British television show ever to land a cover, and we couldn't be happier! The issue appears to be very television-centric judging by the main article, "The 25 Greatest Cult TV Series." The issue also promises Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more. We can't wait to get out hands on a copy! Our next Tell Me More!
What We’re Obsessed With This Week

The above painting shows Darth Vader wearing Band of Outsiders. Hiis others include Padme Amidala wearing Gareth Pugh, Jango Fett wearing Comme Des Garçons, a Scout Trooper wearing Viktor & Rolf, a Stormtrooper wearing Thom Browne, Jar Jar Binks wearing Maison Martin Margiela, Tell Me More!
