Geek Chic Icon of the Week: Jennifer Landa
This weeks Geek Chic Icon of the Week was spotted at San Diego Comic Con in a Millennium Falcon Dress. Her name is Jennifer Landa and she is a major Star Wars fan. Upon seeing the pictures of her stunning ensemble via Twitter, we immediately Googled her and were excited to find that this was not the first crafty Star Wars skirt that Jennifer has created. She had previously worn a Death Star skirt at last years San Diego Comic Con. One of the best things about Jennifer’s outfits is that she doesn’t just stop at the skirt. Both outfits were accessorized flawlessly. The Millennium Falcon skirt was accessorized with an X-Wing hair piece, while the Death Star skirt was accessorized with TIE Interceptor hair piece. She pulled both looks together by pairing them with a simple pair of tights and bold ankle booties. We also love that despite wearing neutral colored tops, Jennifer still opted for an avant garde styles. The Millennium Falcon skirt is worn with a lovely gray crop top featuring side cutouts and double straps. For the Death Star skirt, she wore a simple black satin corset, accented with gray piping and a black zipper front. Jennifer is an actress, writer, vlogger, and Star Wars mega fan. According to the bio on her blog, Jennifer’s best friend is her 15 pound chihuahua which she named Chewbacca. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for the next convention she plans on attending!
