Shopping Obsession: Skelton Crew Studio’s Locke & Key Replica Keys

One of our favorite current ongoing comic series is Locke & Key by horror masterminds Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez which is why we're in love with the line of keys being produced by Skelton Crew Studio.  Skelton Crew Studio has been officially licensing keys from the popular comic series since 2008 and were responsible for the San Diego Comic Con exclude Ghost Key in 2009.  I received my first keys from them in the mail this past weekend and I couldn't be happier.  The keys are crafted Tell Me More!
The Walking Dead – “Better Angels” Recap

The Walking Dead – “Better Angels” Recap

The survivors gather for Dale's funeral. Rick gives the eulogy:  "In the end, he (Dale) was talking about losing our humanity. He said this group is broken. The best way to honor him is to un-break it. To set aside our differences and pull together... We're not broken. We're gonna prove him wrong. From now on, we're gonna do it his way." Mixed into the funeral scene, we see clips of Shane, Andrea, Daryl and T-Dog securing the fences around the farm and killing some stray walkers in a field.  Seriously, Tell Me More!
Comic Review: Fairest #1 by Bill Willingham & Phil Jimenez

Comic Review: Fairest #1 by Bill Willingham & Phil Jimenez

In the Vertigo Panel at New York Comic Con last year, Phil Jimenez spoke of the newest Fables spinoff, Fairest, as the series that features all of the lesser known adventures of the women of Fabletown.  After months and months of waiting for the comic's release, I am sorry to say that I was less than impressed with the first issue.  It's definitely worth continuing to read at least a few more issues to see where the story is going before dismissing the title completely, but for a comic that Tell Me More!

What We’re Obsessed With This Week

Our first obsession this week is with these amazing cupcakes inspired by The Hunger Games. We are huge fans of the book trilogy and cannot wait to see the movie! We may even make these cupcakes to bring along with us to the premiere. These cupcakes were designed by Fictional Food's Crystal Watanabe. Crystal has posted a video tutorial on how to make these cupcakes. You can watch it here. Our second obsession this week is with this gorgeous Ravenclaw Corset we found on Etsy. The design is part Tell Me More!
An Interview With The Walking Dead’s IronE Singleton

An Interview With The Walking Dead’s IronE Singleton

Last weekend, we attended the Run For Your Lives zombie 5k in Atlanta. The event featured a special celebrity guest appearance by The Walking Dead's IronE Singleton. Singleton currently portrays T-Dog on the popular AMC series.  Singleton rose to fame after playing Alton in the 2009 blockbuster film The Blind Side. But it wasn't an easy road for the actor. Born and raised in Atlanta, Singleton overcame some major obstacles to become the successful actor he is today. He grew up in a poverty-stricken Tell Me More!

The Walking Dead – “Judge, Jury, Executioner” Recap

The Walking Dead – “Judge, Jury, Executioner” Recap

Who else was left speechless after the end of Sunday night's ep of The Walking Dead? You could just feel that something big was going to happen. There were subtle hints throughout the tense episode, which kept me on the edge of my seat until those final minutes. But who would have guessed that we'd lose poor Dale is such a horrific way. More on that later. Episode 11, titled "Judge, Jury, Executioner", opens in a shed where Randall is being kept prisoner. Daryl is interrogating the boy, Tell Me More!
I Survived My First Zombie 5k!

I Survived My First Zombie 5k!

On Saturday, I attended my first Run For Your Lives race. Much like the name implies, this isn't your standard 5k. This race is a 5k and obstacle course combo. Oh, and it's infested with zombies! Sounds fun, right? It was!  My hubby and I arrived in Atlanta on Friday evening to stormy weather and worried the rain might effect the next day's race. I checked the event's twitter page and was relieved to see that the race would go on rain or shine. When we arrived on site the next day, we were Tell Me More!
The Best of Chocolate World Expo

The Best of Chocolate World Expo

This past Sunday marked the first Chocolate World Expo held on Long Island at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City.  Trust me when I tell you, this is not an event you can afford to miss.  The museum was overtaken with vendors selling the very finest gourmet chocolates, cupcakes, wines, vegan treats gelatos, and more.  The event, organized by Baum Image Group, ran from 11am to 6pm.  As the day went on, the line grew progressively longer, extending for blocks.  Your best bet of Tell Me More!
