Doctor Who: The ABC’s of Death

Remember when we showed you the ABC's of Games of Thrones deaths?  Well, now DeviantArtist EatToast, has created ABC's of Doctor Who deaths, also in the style of Edward Gorey's Gashleycrumb Tinies.  The Doctor Who version, called the Gallifreycrumb Tinies, recounts some of the saddest deaths we've seen since Doctor Who was rebooted.  There's also an element of humor present as 'R is for Rory who dies everyday."  If you haven't yet caught up with Doctor Who, you will want to wait to view the image Tell Me More!

Our Favorite Superheroes and Villains Say Goodbye to Hostess

Our Favorite Superheroes and Villains Say Goodbye to Hostess

If there are two things we love, it's comics and dessert.  Old school Hostess ads used to be drawn by comic artists who incorporated Hostess products into a scene with their characters.  The Comics Should Be Good! blog which is part of Comic Book Resources had challenged artists to create new ads with their favorite characters in an homage to the ads of yore.  Our favorites are The Sandman and Saga ads.  You can view even more of the artists creations here. Disney Princesses as Pokémon Trainers

Disney Princesses as Pokémon Trainers

One of our favorite recent reincarnations of the Disney princesses are these in which the girls are transformed into Pokémon trainers.  The concept art was designed by DeviantArtist Hapuriainen.  We particularly love Snow White, Belle, Ariel,  Tinkerbell and Alice in Wonderland. There are also several non-Disney characters that were also reimagined.  Which are your favorites? (via Fashionably Geek) Tell Me More!

In this Hobbit and Hunger Games mash up video, Bilbo volunteers as tribute from the Shire to partake in the games.  Gollum and Smeagol argue over who in fact volunteered first, and Gandalf remarks about tributes making fun of his beard.  The Effie Trinketesque announcer and her cohost break out into hysterical laughter at the thought of the Hobbits having a chance, and third breakfasts are promised as a reward.  But don't take our word for how funny this video is, see it for yourself below!
