Doctor Who: New Images From “The Crimson Horror”
The BBC have released a set of images from this Saturday's episode of Doctor Who titled "The Crimson Horror". In the episode the Doctor and Clara travel to 1890s Yorkshire. "The Crimson Horror" was written by Mark Gatiss and is considered to be a "Doctor lite" episode, which means that we won't see much of the Doctor or Clara. Instead, the story will focus on the Doctor's old friends Strax, Madame Vastra and Jenny (last seen in "The Snowmen"). Read the official synopsis below: There’s something Tell Me More!
Doctor Who: New Images From “Journey to the Center of the TARDIS”
On this Saturday's episode of Doctor Who the TARDIS is captured by a salvage team. When its tossed on top of a scrap heap the TARDIS begins to malfunction. The Doctor is able to escape from the malfunctioning ship, but Clara is trapped inside. The Doctor has only has 30 minutes to find Clara and save his TARDIS before it self-destructs! Doctor Who: New Images From “Cold War”
The BBC has released over 20 images from the next episode of Doctor Who titled "Cold War." The episode finds the Doctor (Matt Smith) and new companion Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman) on a Russian submarine, where a frozen alien warrior has recently awakened. The episode was written by Mark Gatiss, and Smith recently told the BBC it was one of his favorites: "They built a submarine and the five-year old in me was like 'Yeah it’s a submarine!', I loved getting sprayed down at the beginning of the Tell Me More!
UPDATED: BBC America Sets Premiere Date For Zombie Mini-Series In The Flesh
BBC America has announced that the British zombie drama In The Flesh will premiere on August 3rd at 10pm ET Thursday, June 6th at 10pm ET. Originally, the mini-series (which has already aired in the UK) was going to be paired with Being Human (UK) as part of the network's Supernatural Saturday block. However, BBC America recently announced they have moved up the premiere date for In The Flesh and plan to air the series in its entirety over three consecutive nights. This Saturday after a new episode of Doctor Who, The Nerdist's BBC show is going to be zombie themed for The Walking Dead. In keeping with the zombie theme, they had Karen Gillan (former Doctor Who companion, Amy Pond), made up to look like a zombie advertising a new skincare line called z'Ombeal, because as Karen states, being undead is no reason to give up on beauty. Last week the BBC announced that David Tennant and Billie Piper would return for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special. Benedict Cumberbatch Confirms Sherlock Season 4
Just one day after the BBC Twitter account announced that production on season 3 of Sherlock had begun, series star Benedict Cumberbatch confirmed that he and Martin Freeman have signed on for a fourth season. Cumberbatch told a reporter at the South Bank Show Awards, "We've agreed to two more [seasons] but I could get into trouble for saying that." He went on to hint that a fifth season may not be out of the question, "All I know at the moment is we're doing these three [episodes of the Tell Me More!
Most Wanted Lost Episode of Doctor Who Fully Animated
The fourth installment of the First Doctor's (played by William Hartnell) final serial entitled "The Tenth Planet," has been missing for years somewhere deep within the BBC Vaults. BBC does not have a print of the episode fit to broadcast. But fortunately, Planet 55 Studios has fully reanimated the entire episode for our Whovian pleasure.
