The new series of Doctor Who starring Peter Capaldi and Jenna Louise Coleman is only a few short days away and BBC has just announced the titles and writers for each episode in the upcoming season. Although, this news hasn't taken our minds off of the rumors circulating that Coleman is slated to leave the show during the Christmas special. In the meantime while we (impatiently) wait for Saturday, we're just going to keep watching the series' new opening on repeat!

Doctor Who will return to TV screens in August with Peter Capaldi at the helm of the TARDIS. But that won't be the only place Capaldi's Doctor will appear. Titan Comics will premiere a new series of DW adventures featuring the Twelfth Doctor this fall.
Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor No. 1 will hit retailers on October 1st. The first issue, penned by Robbie Morrison with art by Dave Taylor, features Capaldi on the cover. Titan is being tight-lipped about the details of the series, but did say Tell Me More!
Her Universe has added a couple of cute new pieces to its ever-expanding line of Doctor Who fashion. Our favorite is this Bad Guys A-line Dress.
It includes some of our favorite baddies from the DW universe, including the Weeping Angels, Daleks and Cybermen. Take a look at a close-up of the pattern on the dress:
In addition to the dress, HU has also released the I Never Know Why Tank. The simple white tank features the Doctor's famous quote, "I never know why. I only know who." Both Tell Me More!
Just in time for Valentine's Day we found these adorable Doctor Who themed earrings! The officially licensed collection includes Cybermen Studs, Ten & Eleven's Sonic Screwdrivers, dangling Daleks and the TARDIS.
The earrings are available from the SciFi Collector Shop via Amazon.com. Worldwide shipping is available. Happy shopping! Tell Me More!
The official BBC Doctor Who Twitter account just tweeted this image of Peter Capaldi in his official Twelfth Doctor "costume."
What do you think? My first thought was, "impressive." He"s beginning to look very much like the Doctor to me.

We spend a large portion of my time perusing tumblr and deviantArt admiring the unique artistic interpretations of our favorite comic book characters so we thought it would be fitting to start an art column on our blog. The obvious choice for our first artist post is Dean Trippe. Dean draws the best Supergirl we've ever laid eyes on. Her outfit is modest and it's exactly the way our ideal incarnation of Kara would dress. We're also in love with his Lois Lane Girl Reporter proposal and artwork. Tell Me More!
"First the eyebrows! Then, at Christmas, the face! Coming soon, the whole Doctor. In the Cardiff studios, the Capaldi era begins." - Steven Moffat
The BBC has released the first photo of Peter Capaldi on the set of Doctor Who. In the pic, Capaldi is seen with companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman).
Along with the photo, the Beeb also released the following press release:

And now it's time for one last bow...
The upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special "The Time of the Doctor" will be Matt Smith's last episode as the Doctor. It's an episode many of us Whovians have been dreading since Smith's departure from the series was announced. Although the release of this new trailer does have us a bit excited to see how it will all end for Eleven.
The Doctor must sacrifice everything to save a town called Christmas from the Time Lord’s greatest enemies. A change is Tell Me More!
