One of our favorite announcements pre-Toy Fair (but we previewed the figures there) is the line of figures based on Dustin Nguyen's Li'l Gotham. Li'l Gotham has been one of my favorite comics to have debuted in 2013 and it's one of few that I've kept up to date with on a monthly basis. Obviously the Harley Quinn figure is our favorite (she also comes with the most accessories, including an adorable mini Joker!), but the Joker and Robin figures are lovely as well. The Batman is a little bit Tell Me More!
DC Comics has finally confirmed all of the details for the new Superman series written by Scott Snyder, illustrated by Jim Lee, and featuring back up stories also written by Scott Snyder with art by Dustin Nguyen. The official title of the series is Superman Unchained, and the first issue will hit stands the same week as Zack Snyder's Man of Steel debuts in theaters. In an interview with USA Today about the new series, Snyder stated "The way to approach a character as iconic as him is you just Tell Me More!
In one the cutest takes we've seen in the DC Universe, Dustin Nguyen and co-writer Derek Fridolfs, create a Batman story unlike any other we've seen thus far. The new series will "showcase Dustin's stylized watercolor take on the heroes and villains of Gotham, and each new installment will be set against the major holiday of each month." The first issue debuts digitally today, just in time for Halloween.
“This has been a passion project of mine for some time now, and for anyone that’s Tell Me More!
