We now have a new teaser trailer for Marvel's highly anticipated team up with LEGO for their new game which will arrive in stores this fall. The trailer is short, but the ending is sure to get fans excited as we see a giant shadow belonging to none other than Galactus! They've also released information about the preorder bonuses customers will receive including: Wal-Mart: an exclusive Iron Patriot figure, GameStop: a Spider-Man keychain, and Amazon: $10 towards another game. New Women’s Superhero Sleepwear at Target
If you're anything like me, you probably spend countless hours searching the internet for superhero themed women's pajamas, only to find that there is a very limited selection available. I oftentimes end up buying items made for men and modifying them. Upon walking into Target last Tuesday, I found an entire new collection of women's themed sleepwear and I felt like I was in heaven. I ended up purchasing about 90% of the items offered and I can say firsthand that everything offered is extremely Tell Me More!
Custom Captain America & Iron Man Xbox Designs
Zachariah Perry Cruse is a genius when it comes to customizing Microsoft's Xbox. Below are photos of just two of the systems he transformed into looking like Marvel's Captain America and Iron Man. Iron Man 3 Collector’s 3D Glasses
Marvel's next film, Iron Man 3 will have four pairs of collector's glasses which theatergoers can purchase if they see the film in 3D. The styles include War Machine, Iron Patriot, Iron Man and Tony Stark. For a look at the newest Iron Man 3 trailer, you can watch here. The film stars Robert Downey Jr, Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, Guy Pearce, Szostak and James Badge Dale and it debuts in theaters on May 3rd, 2013. Pixar-Style DC and Marvel Characters
Artist Phil Postma gives DC and Marvel superheroes a Pixar style makeover in his artwork below. There are obvious nods to The Incredibles for some characters (see Wonder Woman, and Batman & Robin), while others reference Brave (Dark Phoenix). We would love to see Pixar team up with DC or Marvel for an animated film, especially if these illustrations are any indicator of how cute the movie could possibly be! (via io9) Tell Me More!
Superhero Silhouette Posters
Artist Marko Maney created these beautiful posters of our favorite superheroes. The posters each take the silhouette of the hero and because he used only blacks, whites and grays in his color palette, the resulting look is very noir. In this entertaining mash up between Marvel's The Avengers, and The Breakfast Club, we see each of the characters equated to the John Hughes counterpart, obviously with Nick Fury being the Principal and Loki being Bender.
