NYCC 2013: Stephanie Brown To Return in BATMAN ETERNAL

Fans of DC's beloved and long lost Batgirl, Stephanie Brown, can finally rejoice as Steph will be returning to DC in the spring for Batman Eternal.  The announcement was made during the DC Comics Batman panel by Scott Snyder after a fan inquired about her future.  According to Snyder, “no one was trying to shelve her.  It was more about finding the right time to reintroduce her.”  She'll be returning as Spoiler in issue #3 of the new weekly comic, Batman Eternal.  At every single DC panel Tell Me More!

Kotobukiya ‘The Killing Joke’ Statue

Kotobukiya's 1/6 Scale ArtFX 'The Killing Joke,' statue is now officially available for preorder.  This 11-inch statue is based on what many consider to be the greatest Joker story ever told (although we think Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's current story will give Alan Moore and Brian Bolland a run for their money).  The statue  has an estimated delivery date of May 2013 and you can preorder it on BigBadToyStore.com for $130.00. Featuring a portrait inspired by the graphic novel cover Tell Me More!

NYCC 2012: DC Comics Wrap-Up

First up from DC Comics, was this new sizzle reel of The CW's new television series, Arrow, which is based on DC Comics' Green Arrow.  The reel shows us a preview of what to expect this coming season, as well as some sneak peeks of Huntress, Deadshot, Deathstroke, China White and John Barrowman. Our most anticipated DC panel at NYCC this year was the DC Comics: Batman - Death Comes to Gotham Panel which was on Sunday.  Anyone who picked up Batman or Batgirl #13 last Wednesday knows that Tell Me More!
NYCC 2012: Vertigo Comics Wrap-Up

NYCC 2012: Vertigo Comics Wrap-Up

The Vertigo: A View From the Cutting Edge of Comics Panel which is always hosted by Executive Editor Karen Berger along with a plethora of Vertigo writers is always one of my favorite panels at NYCC.  The panel began with Scott Snyder discussing American Vampire, which he and Rafael will be taking a break from to get ahead on the series (presumably due to Snyder's new Superman series).  The duo will return even bigger and better than before with the second half of the story which will soon be teased Tell Me More!

Batman: Capullo’s Death of the Family Die Cut Covers

Anyone who has been reading DC's New 52, is sure to have Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman at the top of their pull list.  The Court of Owls arc was bone chilling and resonated with any Batman fan, but we heard that the duo were bringing The Joker back into the mix, we nearly lost our minds!  The Joker will return this fall with a new face mask made up of his own torn off skin.  Kicking off Batman #13 this October, DC had Capullo draw 10 die cut covers which will appear on the following titles "Batman," Tell Me More!
