Yesterday we told you that The Walking Dead had begun production on its fourth season in Georgia. Now, we're getting our first look at the new season. AMC has released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Executive Producer (and special effects master) Greg Nicotero that shows us just what it takes to become a walker on the show.

The cast and crew of The Walking Dead have returned to Georgia where filming of the 4th season of the hit zombie drama began this morning. And while we don't have any photos from today's filming, we do have these awesome behind-the-scenes shots from season 3. Take a look:

At the Diamond Comics Retailer summit, Image Comics announced Image Expo 2013, a unique media event that will take place in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on July 2, 2013. Image held the event last year in Oakland, CA, and offers attendees unprecedented access to creators, exclusive swag, and the first chance to hear announcements for the future plans at Image Comics.

The Wire's Lawrence Gilliard Jr. has officially signed on to join the rest of our survivors for season 4 of The Walking Dead. Gilliard will play the role of Bob Stookey, a former Army medic who is deeply haunted by his past- both pre and post zombie apocalypse. His character is described as a loner, who puts up a charming facade to hide just how troubled he really is. Stookey was also featured in The Walking Dead comics. He was a resident of Woodbury who became invaluable to the Governor after Tell Me More!
Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum will release the fourth line of The Walking Dead comic series Minimates this August. The new series features two of the comics most popular characters: the Governor and Michonne.
The assortment includes four different two-packs, each retailing for around $10. The line-up includes: Prison Lori with Shoulder Zombie, the Governor with Gabe, Alice with Shoulder Zombie and Michonne (wearing her famous poncho) with Bruce.
